Proper noun and Commen noun

Proper Nouns vs Common Nouns

A proper noun is a name of someone or a place. A proper noun always needs a capital letter.

A common noun is the name of an object such as table, or whiteboard.
It does not always require a capital letter unless it is at the start of a sentence.
